I was born and raised in South Africa and for as long as I can remember, I always felt a strong connection towards Africa’s wilderness areas and in particular, the wildlife which roamed freely within. 

My love for the animals stemmed from many years of living amongst and working with wild animals. The interest in sharing not only the immense beauty of Africa, but also my own personal experiences is what drove me to pick up that first camera.
